Where can you find people who understand the words complete or comprehensive as well as they do at Modern Golf Course ?
Starting with a golf course that is designed by 5 time British Open winner Peter Thomson and that is complemented by other sport facilities like tennis courts, squash, badminton or tanle tennis.

And what about the olympic size swimming pool, a resort theme pool complimented with an outdoor restaurant, a fully equipped fitness center and aerobic studio, a sauna with whirpool, steam room and jacuzzi, a pool room as well as rooms for meeting and training session and even a ballroom for wedding, birthdays and other gatherings that can be caterd to by one of three "in-house" restaurant.

At Modern Golf Course you come for the game of golf and if night golf won't make you stay long after the sun has set, all the rest will.

 

Local Rules

The games of golf will be played in accordance with the rules of golf currently adopted by the R&A of St. Andrews, the USGA and the Local Rules of Modern Golf Course
  • HAZARDS (Rules 26)
    • Water Hazards are marked by yellow stakes
    • Lateral Water Hazards are marked by red stakes
  • FREE LIFT
    Through the green a ball may be lifted and dropped within one club-length from the nearest point of the relief but not nearer to the hole, without penalty :
    • Cart path, control boxes, spinklers and metal covers
    • All young trees supported by orange stakes
    • All grounds marked as Ground Under Repair marked by orange stakes
    • Ball strinking Ligh Poles and Bases must be replayed from nearest position ball was last played
  • IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTION (RULE 24-2)
    Nearest point of relief - no penalty for the following obstruction :
    - Halfway house, shelters, pump house, control boxes, valves, drain covers, tee signs, distance markers and lighting boxes
  • EMBEDDED BALL (RULE 25-3)
  • Relief from embedded ball is allowed through the green (entire course), free drop
  • OUT OF BOUNDS
    Declared by white stakes
  • NIGHT GOLF RULE
    • For the safety of the players, do not allow group to hit up on par three hole. When allowing faster group to play through, player must walk on the tee box on the hole.
    • Limit your search for the lost ball up to two minutes. Drop your ball as nearest as the spot your ball was lost, add one stroke penalty.
    • Out of bounds shall be played as water hazard rules.
  • SIREN SIGNALS
    • A series of 20 seconds blasts > Discontinue play
    • A series of 5 seconds blasts > Resume play
    • One continous blast of about 1 minute > Abandon play
